Kuehne+Nagel Successfully Issues Two Bonds for a Total of CHF 400 Million

Two bonds were recently issued by Kuehne+Nagel International AG as part of their regular financing activities. Both bonds' proceeds will be utilized for general business activities and to refinance current debt.

The first bond matures on November 13, 2028, with a tenor of three years and six months and a fixed coupon of 0.6848%. The second bond matures on November 13, 2031, with a fixed coupon of 0.9823% and a tenor of six years and six months.

"Kuehne+Nagel maintains an optimal financing structure and enjoys favorable interest rates with these issued bonds. Markus Blanka-Graff, CFO of Kuehne+Nagel International AG, states, "This also enables Kuehne+Nagel to maintain our presence in the Swiss capital market, which improves our strategic flexibility."

Maersk’s Warehouse in the Logistics Heart of France Officially Opens

Maersk's first warehouse in France, measuring 75,000 square meters and situated in the prime location of GLP Park Denain (Hauts-de-France), is already operational. It is the newest addition to Maersk's portfolio, which already includes more than 500 warehouses and distribution centers worldwide, including more than 40 in 15 European nations.

In early 2026, PostNord Denmark will cease handling mail to focus solely on its parcel operations, following a more than 90% drop in mail volumes since 2000, further accelerated by recent postal legislation. The shift reflects the unsustainable nature of maintaining a nationwide, profitable mail service in Denmark. Meanwhile, PostNord Sweden will continue its mail operations, adapting through restructuring and price adjustments, though regulatory support remains essential amid declining demand.

PostNL App Celebrates 10-year Anniversary

Ten years ago, PostNL was among the first logistics service providers in the Netherlands to create an app. It made it simple for people to track their parcels and change their delivery preferences. Since then, the PostNL app has grown into an adaptable and smart delivery helper, and it celebrates a 10-year anniversary this year.

Last year, 5.9 million of the more than 9 million account holders utilized the app, with 2.3 million using it on a weekly basis. In 2024, users accessed the app four times on average each week. Half of app users have already selected their delivery choices, which include delivering to neighbors, a safe location surrounding the house, a PostNL-point, or a parcel locker.

CEVA Logistics Signs Deal to Acquire Borusan Tedarik, Expand in Turkey

CEVA Logistics is a part of the CMA CGM Group. The business has signed a binding agreement to purchase 100% of Borusan Tedarik Zinciri Çözümleri ve Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi, enhancing its worldwide presence in a key market.

The signed share transfer agreement specifies a total transfer price of $440 million (USD), subject to ordinary net cash and working capital adjustments. Borusan Holding holds 69.47 percent of Borusan Tedarik's shares, while Borusan Yatırım, a publicly listed company, owns the remaining 30.53 percent. The transaction, which includes Borusan Tedarik subsidiaries in Germany, Bulgaria, Hong Kong, and China, is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

CEVA Logistics would welcome the approximately 4,000 staff who work with Borusan Tedarik. Adding Borusan Tedarik's logistics services will boost CEVA's present position in Turkey, providing a strong offering in each of its major products—air, ocean, and land transport, contract logistics, and FVL.
