The E-commerce Germany Awards, Germany’s first e-commerce industry competition, returns for its 10th edition with submissions opening on October 26, 2026. The contest brings together established leaders and emerging players, offering them the opportunity to showcase their solutions, gain exposure to 24,000+ e-commerce professionals and leading brands, and strengthen their position in the German market.

Since its launch in 2018, the E-commerce Germany Awards has grown into one of the industry's leading recognition platforms, attracting over 350 entries and more than 20,000 online voters per edition in recent years.

The contest offers SMEs and large enterprises alike the opportunity to increase their visibility, strengthen their credibility, and build brand awareness while connecting with a broad network of e-commerce decision-makers. It also provides a valuable platform for international companies looking to expand their presence in the German market.

Recognition from a jury of e-commerce experts

The E-commerce Germany Awards offers companies the opportunity to compete across 12 categories, each representing a key segment of the e-commerce services industry:

  • Sales & Marketing

  • Platforms & Commerce Tools

  • Payment & Fintech

  • Analytics & BI

  • Agency Showcase

  • Global Commerce & Expansion

  • Logistics & Delivery

  • Fulfillment & Optimization

  • Personalization & CX

  • Communication & Engagement

  • Omnichannel & Integration

  • Multichannel & Marketplace Tools

The contest consists of a public voting round, followed by a jury evaluation phase. Top 10 finalists in each category will be assessed by a panel of industry experts with years of experience across various sectors of e-commerce. This year’s jury includes representatives from companies such as flaconi, Breuninger, C&A, MediaMarkt, camel active, IBM iX and ARTAVO, among others - ensuring a fair and well-rounded selection of the most impactful solutions.

Prizes that deliver real market exposure

E-commerce Berlin Expo, the organizer of the E-commerce Germany Awards, provides finalists and winners with extensive promotional opportunities across its digital channels, helping them increase brand visibility, showcase their solutions, and strengthen their presence in the German e-commerce market.

How to compete

Any solution provider active in the German e-commerce market is eligible to participate. The submission process is straightforward:

  1. Choose your category: Select one category that represents your solution the best.

  2. Prepare your entry: Highlight your company’s achievements, backed by results or case studies.

  3. Submit your application: Follow the guidelines on E-commerce Germany Awards official website to complete your entry.

The submission is free and open to all eligible companies. A €450 fee applies only to the top 10 finalists in each category and includes guaranteed promotional exposure across the organizer’s digital channels.

Key dates and stages

Submissions open on 26 October and close on 13 November 2026 at 23:59 CET. Following the application verification process, the public voting round will take place from 18 November to 4 December, giving the e-commerce community the opportunity to support their favorite companies.

The top 10 solutions in each category will then advance to the jury evaluation stage. The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on 17 February 2027 in Berlin, during the first day of E-commerce Berlin Expo at Messe Berlin. This setting offers finalists valuable industry exposure and a unique opportunity to celebrate achievements, connect with potential partners, and exchange ideas shaping the future of e-commerce.
